For years our customers have been asking "Can you needle felt on a pillow?" The answer is an emphatic YES! This gorgeous floral accent pillow is bright and cheerful and is the perfect addition to your handmade decor.
With this kit, you fill in a printed fabric picture (that is already sewn into a pillow cover) with wool. This is the needle felt equivalent to paint-by-number but with fiber.
Felting time: about 10 hrs. (depends on individual felting speed)

You will also need:
A mat to use as a work surface and a 16x16 pillow insert. For the mat, choose from foam or wool. Foam is the most economical but wears out the fastest. Wool is eco-friendly, very long lasting, and works particularly well for this project but is a higher up front investment. For the insert, we offer a wool and cotton option that is made in the USA. Or, procure your own from any craft or fabric store.
This kit is intended for adults and kids over 10 yrs. who possess good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with focus and care. (Caution - felting needles are sharp!)
