The Basics:
- Ordering is online. Once you fill out a wholesale discount and are approved, simply log in to place your orders
- Orders are paid for at the time of purchase; we do not currently offer net 30 terms
- We do not currently have any minimums
- We ship most wholesale orders within one week of order date depending on our retail order volume. It can sometimes take longer especially during our busy season (Oct - Dec). Please let us know if you need your order to arrive by a certain date to see if we can accommodate your request.
- Our shopping cart may overcharge on shipping for wholesale orders. If this happens, we will refund the shipping overage so that you only pay the actual shipping cost. Most wholesale orders are shipped with Fedex.
Suggested Opening Order:
If you are new to carrying needle felting supplies, we suggest stocking these things:
- Kits - Mini kits are especially good to start with because they are at a lower price point for beginners and customers who want to try out needle felting without a large investment. Choose what is seasonally relevant at the time you are ordering.
- Needles - our 7 variety pack is our most popular needle tube because it lets customers try out the different types of needles. Other bestselling needles are 38 Traingle or 38 Star (both are good general needles). Most customers purchase painted needles unless they are replacing broken needles in a tool.
- Mats - most needle felting projects need the right kind of work surface and not all of our kits contain a mat. We suggest carrying some mats if you don't already. Foam is more economical but wool lasts longer.
- Finger Guards - lots of people accidentally poke themselves when needle felting. Finger guards offer some protection and piece of mind.
- Wool - most of our retail shops start with the items above and add wool later on once they see how much interest there is in needle felting. If you are going to stock wool, we usually recommend carrying our 1/8 oz. rolls of wool, in a variety of colors.
Bestsellers:
We recommend stocking what you think your customers will like the best! We are proud of our lineup of kits. However, the kits below are the ones that we sell the most of.
Mini Kits: Forest Toadstools is popular year round. In the spring, Bunny Friends and Chick Friends are bestsellers. In the fall, Pumpkin Trio sells the most. Christmas Gnome is the bestseller at holiday time.
Sculpting Kits: Easter Eggs is the most popular in spring. There is not a stand-out kit for the fall. Christmas Ornaments is the bestseller during holiday season. Our $75 "Party" kits such as Egg Party and Ornament Party also are strong sellers for classes or groups of friends and family.
Painting Kits: Grazing Sheep is the bestseller that sells well year round. Coastal Waters is a close second. Note that these need to be worked on a Wool Mat or 10x10 foam mat (mats are not included).
Blanks: our wool egg blanks, Pumpkin Blanks and Ornament Blanks are popular during their respective seasons. These make it faster and easier for customers to make their own Easter Eggs, Pumpkins and Ornaments.
