This is a nice five needle tool that helps you to needle felt a little faster. I reach for this one when I'm putting in less detailed layers on my needle felted landscape paintings. It also does a great job of quickly smoothing the outer layer of 3d sculptures.
The sound this tool makes is a little annoying because of the spring action of its needle guard. However, the needle placement is quite good and it works well, so I'm happy to put up with it. The fact that it has a locking needle guard does make it safer when not in use.
You can replace the needles in this tool if/when they break. It will fit any unpainted felting needles including the ones that we carry here at Felted Sky.
