This pack of 36 Triangle needles has bumpy paint with some flaking paint as well. There is a range of paint issues in this lot. Some needles will be close to first quality while others have a very bumpy and cracking painted surface.
We had a number of batches of needles with paint issues this winter, trying to spray paint them in less-than-ideal weather conditions. Otherwise these needles are first quality but are being offered here at a discount because of their paint issue.
