This is a very nice thin prefelt that is made in the USA from 100% wool. Prefelt stands for preliminary felt because it is felt that is not all the way felted. That means your needle will glide in very easily without as much effort as felting into craft felt.
This product is very uniform and although it is not very thick, it works well as a backing for felted artwork. It takes dye very well if you want to dye some up for yourself in different shades.
This is a 1 lb. bag of scrap pieces that are left from when we cut 12x12 squares or use it for in-house projects.
