As seen in Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Craft Magazine!
If you're new to needle felting and looking for a fun project to try, we think you'll enjoy making these Holiday trees. They make a great decoration whether used in a scene or on their own.
Felting time: about 3 hrs. per tree depending on individual felting speed.
Finished size: Approximately 6-8" x 4"
Kit is beautifully packaged and includes:
Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information) Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step Link to video instructions (highly recommended!) Branch template Four color-coded felting needles in a handy paper tube Two types of felting wool Wood "tree trunks"
You will also need:
A mat to use as a work surface and glue to attach the trunks. Mats that work for this project include foam, burlap, or wool. Once you have a mat, it can be used for many projects. Note that foam is the most economical but wears out the fastest.
This kit is intended for adults and kids over 10 yrs. who possess good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with focus and care. (Caution - felting needles are sharp!)
