Felted Sky is a family-owned needle felting kit and supplies business located in Livonia, MI. As one of the top needle felting companies in the US, we continue to grow, and are looking for a new kit packer for immediate hire. No previous experience is required; we will provide on-site training. You will be responsible for the final assembly and quality control of our needle felting kits, ensuring every customer receives a complete and beautiful product. Attention to detail is critical (perfectionism is a plus!), and you must be able to comfortably lift packages up to 25 lbs. This position requires you to have a covered truck, van, or large SUV to transport materials.

This position is 10 - 15 hrs per week initially, working from home on your own schedule. May flex slightly seasonally. This position has the potential to grow into additional hours and roles over time.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pack kits based on a product list and template
• Keep a clean, fragrance-free, and organized workspace in your home in accordance with our standards
• Be the last quality control check of products during the creation process
• Securely transport materials and finished kits between your home and our warehouse located in Livonia, MI. This requires a covered truck, van, or large SUV (20 hrs. worth of kits does not fit in a car or smaller SUV).

• Previous experience is not required; we will provide paid on-site training
• Ability to work at a reasonably fast pace, while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A super positive attitude, friendly, cooperative, and able to take directions and corrections with grace.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $15.00 per hour during a 2-week trial period. $16.00 per hour thereafter, with a perk of getting 50% off of our product line.
