In-person class with Dani Ives at Felted Sky HQ!

Join artist Dani Ives (@begoodnatured) for a fun and beginner-friendly needle felting workshop that’s all about creativity, wool, and trying something new. You’ll learn Dani’s signature Painting with Wool technique--using felting needles and colorful wool to “paint” images on fabric.

This in-person 2.5 hr class will be held at Felted Sky's base of operations in Livonia, MI on Saturday, October 31st. Please pick your time to sign up. We will tour Felted Sky's production facility and you will have the opportunity to shop our supply floor before or after the class. Limit 12 people per class!

What’s included:
- Supplies to use during class and take home: felting foam pad, felting needles, background fabric, and plenty of wool in a variety of colors.
- A relaxed introduction to the basics: how needle felting works, how to use the tools, and how to get started on your first wool painting.
- Tips and demos to help you go further: how to get an image onto your fabric, how to blend colors, add texture, and create details that make your piece come to life.
- Your choice of subject! You can bring an idea or photo (printed or on your phone), or use one of Dani’s patterns--no drawing skills needed. Seasonal patterns will also be available.

You’ll be able to work at your own pace, and Dani will offer plenty of one-on-one guidance along the way. Whether you’re totally new or already felting, this workshop is a great way to build your skills and create something you're proud of.

No experience needed, and all skill levels are welcome! Just bring your curiosity.
