Supply Box February 2026

This is the supply box for Baby Chicks - a realistic animal sculpture using armature taught by Megan Nedds.

This box contains:

A picture of the finished art
An armature guide
Three types of felting needles in a handy paper tube (38 Triangle, 42 Triangle, and 36 reverse barb)
Felter's Palette wool in 3 colors
Felter's Roving wool in 1 color
1 oz. Core Wool
148” piece of 20 gauge wire
1 small piece mustard polymer clay
1 small piece orange polymer clay
1 round toothpick
1 coffee stirrer to use as a needle holder
Four 4 mm glass eyes on wire

Extra supplies that you will need:

A mat to use as a work surface (wool or foam)
Aluminum foil
Measuring tape and/or ruler
Permanent marker Scissors
Pet grooming brush or alternate brush such as a toothbrush
Craft glue
Super glue Needle nosed pliers with wire cutter
Old towel
Finger guards are optional
