This beginner needle felting project produces four very sweet ornaments. The perfect addition to your DIY holiday decor. This is an excellent first project if you're new to needle felting. The neat thing about this kit is that the wool balls are already formed, so you can jump to the decorating part without having to make the balls from scratch although they will still need to be firmed and smoothed.
Felting time: about 45 minutes per ornament depending on individual felting speed.
Finished size: Approximately 3.5" diameter and 3.5" tall
Kit is beautifully packaged and includes:
Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step
Link to video instructions (highly recommended!)
Two color-coded felting needles in a handy paper tube
4 balls that are partially felted
Felting wool
String
Sewing needle (doll size)
4 felted wool "ornament caps"
You will also need:
A scissors to cut the string.
This kit is intended for adults and kids over 10 yrs. who possess good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with focus and care. (Caution - felting needles are sharp!)

My class had so much fun making Christmas Bulbs. We all made a Christmas tree together and they took one home to make. They can't wait for the next class. Thank you for making it so easy for me purchase the items I need to teach my classes.
This is my first time felting and I had a blast. Kit was beautiful and had everything that is needed to make the ornaments. Shipping was fast. Directions were spot on and the video was a blessing.

I’ve never done felting before and found the instructions accompanied by the videos e it so easy. The more I worked the easier it got to determine how much wool to use for the designs. If you’re on the fence about trying it, I say go for it!

I bought this on a whim, not really sure how needle felting worked… and I can’t believe how easy and fun it is! I’m making them for a gift, but I can see more purchases in my future. Great quality and great instructions (with photos).

While the quality of the product was very high and the instructions were spot on, felting is not something I enjoyed doing. I found it easy to do, but frustrating at the same time. Since there are no guide lines on the item helping with placement, it was frustrating for someone who is a perfectionist because the spacing was not even and, as a result, I hated the outcome. I do recommend this product.., for other people; just not for me.
The colors are perfect and the examples are easy to follow. This is a new craft for me and I love it. Very easy to learn and lots of fun. Even the young adult grandchildren enjoy it! Makes a fun Christmas party craft.
This kit is outstanding! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do this but the kit is so good and the video support is fantastic. The components in the kit, the felt, needles and felt balls, are top notch. I’ve made the first ornament and I’m very happy with the results! It looks just like the picture. I’m really enjoying felting and looking forward to making the rest of the ornaments.

This kit is so cute! I bought this kit to make the ornaments one for each of my daughters. Easy to make, all the supplies you need are included in this kit. There is a nice video online that shows you how to make them. Great quality kit!
I thought the kit was lovely, and although the instructions were lacking a little bit of nuance for me, and I had to go to the YouTube videos, I found myself bored. I thought this would be a fun, fiber craft I could learn but I found the process tedious and even frustrating. I think I’m going to stick with spinning wool and knitting. The kit is lovely, so don’t get me wrong. It’s the craft that just isn’t a good fit for me. Thank you.
The kit was everything we expected. We really enjoyed creating the ornaments. The designs provided were a great jumping off point and everyone embellished theirs with their own twist.
The kit is complete and I am excited to get started on it. I just haven’t had the time yet, but this kit has taken the stress out of my first try at relying. Super excited to get going on it

This was a gift, she loved them and can’t wait to decorate them.
The wool balls are a bit soft so I felted them some more. I find it difficult to make straight lines on the balls so it doesn’t look as good as in the pictures.
They are so easy to work with and gives me a head start on making the balls. That is the tedious job but they are soft enough to apply the decoration and firm them up.
We have not had our class yet ! I’ll send pictures later !

I bought the kit for my daughter-in-law and I to do while she and her family are here visiting for Christmas. My son and two grandchildren will be out skiing and I thought this might give us some bonding time. I have read the directions and am ready to give it a try….my first felting project. The needed supplies were all furnished and the detailed instructions make it all seem possible for beginners. The color of the felt pieces provided was exactly how shown in the advertisement and very beautiful. Can’t wait to get started!
