This listing is for the PDF instructions + video tutorial to make this pretty garland. This project is suitable for beginners and still fun for seasoned felters. Use as a decoration on a shelf, window, or railing or gift it to someone special.
Already have plenty of wool and felting supplies? Don't need the whole kit but just want the pattern? Then this listing is for you.
You will receive digital downloads for:
1. Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
2. Supplies List
3. Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step + link to the video tutorial. Watching the online video is highly recommended and will take you through the whole process from start to finish! It is the next best thing to taking an in person class.
4. A printable image of the finished project
All four documents can be printed (by you) and fit on 8.5x11 paper. There are 6 pages in total.
Supplies that you will need to complete the project:
1. Felting wool: in 12 colors similar to the ones shown.
2. Felting needles: 38 Triangle are used in the tutorial but other needles including size any 38 gauge can be substituted.
3. Felting mat: foam, burlap or wool - to use as a work surface. Video shows a burlap mat
4. 154 inch piece of hemp twine is used in the tutorial. Other twine or string can be substituted
5. A tapestry needle to draw the twine through the hearts
