Love this little needle set. As a beginner it has been very helpful! Especially the little guide printed on it which is helping learn about the different needles and how to use them. It is perfect for travel.

Pick the type of needles you want. Choose painted or unpainted in packs of 7 or 25. All needles come in a cute paper tube with a "cheat sheet" on the back, so you know what type of needles you have and what they are recommended for.
Painted needles are our favorite for keeping track of what type of needles we have especially during a project where we're using different types. But, most tools won't fit painted needles, so if you are purchasing needles to go in a tool, you will want to order unpainted instead.
Pick from these types of needles:
36 Triangle (Black) Use for beginning stages of felting especially on larger sculptural projects; it helps shaping to go faster. This needle can also be used for attaching parts and for flat felting into prefelt.
38 Triangle (White) A great all-around needle for either sculpting or flat work. If you are only going to have one needle to work with, this would be a good one to pick.
40 Triangle (Yellow) Use for the later stages of sculpting where you want to start smoothing and finishing the surface. Most of our sculpting kits come with 36T and 40T needles. Also works well for flat detail work.
42 Triangle (Green) Use for the final stages of sculpting where you want to smooth and finish the surface. Also good for detail work and making small parts such as the leaves in our succulent kit.
38 Twisted (Brown) A nice general needle for the middle stages of sculpting projects. It has a little more oomph to it than the other 38 gauge needles.
40 Twisted (Purple) A nice general needle for small sculpting projects or finishing larger ones. It felts efficiently without leaving big puncture holes.
38 Star (Blue) My favorite needle to use when felting into fabric. All of our flat needle felting kits that are worked on linen come with this needle.
Variety Pack Only available painted. The 7 pack comes with one of each type of needle mentioned above. The 25 pack comes with 4 of each Triangle needle, and 3 each of the Twisted and Star needles.
Please note that there is no universal color code for felting needles. Our colors are unique to Felted Sky and may not coincide with felting needles purchased elsewhere.
These needles are made by a German company that is still manufacturing in the EU.

Great finishing needle, great service, excellent value for the price.
I really like the felting needles but the yellow one broke the first time I used it.
I love these needles! They are good quality and nicely packaged. I got the 25 pack so that I could use them in a tool if I wanted to. It is a tight squeeze but they will go in and come out of the tool. I also use them individually and love the variety, triangle, star and twisted (my favorite). I also love the size variety because I do small detailed dolls and I use two or three sizes and shapes. The color coding is super convenient. I won't look any further for good needles.
Love Dani Ives felting classes. Felted sky is easy to order from and I love their products.
This is a review for my entire order (don't want to review every wool color I bought: Couldn't find quite the right wool color for my project (needle felt of my first dog, a tri-color) until I found your site. Love the small quantities, since I didn't need that much and hate wasting wool or paying for a large amount that would go unused. The quantity/price allowed me to buy several colors as well to get the best match. Love your needles as well.

I love how quickly my needles arrived so I could start my project. The needles are amazing and the thing I love the most is the color coding on the container and the color coded needle takes the guess work out of trying to figure which needle does what. I love the painted tops! They really help with needle identidication. These do fit in my single needle and multi-needle tools.
I ordered 40T anad 42T needles, and they are primo...I pretty much only use there 2 sizes for everything as they don't make the "holes" that bigger needles do in 2D and 3D work. A+
the 40 T and 42 T felting needles are primo....I've almost quit even using larger needles for all my needle felting! I like how smooth they make 2D and 3D pieces...A+

Hi I love my items I was sad when I open my set of felt needles as one of them came broken and couldn’t glue it back it was the light green color one, the mat is amazing and I can take it with me all the time I would definitely recommend and will continue ordering more
