This wool landscape is a very satisfying project. Easy enough for a beginner, but still enjoyable for an experienced felter. This kit makes a great gift for a crafty friend or family member, or treat yourself and enjoy the process of creating something beautiful. Hang it in a special place or give it away - nothing says “I love you” like handmade art.
Felting time: 3-4 hrs. depending on individual felting speed.

Linen fabric backing
High quality 7 in. wooden hoop
Scissors and glue to secure the picture in the hoop once it is finished.
A mat to use as a work surface. Choose from foam or wool. Foam is the most economical but wears out the fastest. Wool is eco-friendly, very long lasting and works particularly well for this project but is a higher up front investment.
This kit is intended for adults and kids over 10 yrs. who possess good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with focus and care. (Caution - felting needles are sharp!)

This was my first time needle felting, and I’m estimating it took about 10 hours. The instructional video was very helpful! I had enough materials to make more of a rectangle shape and frame it. Love how this turned out and it was fun to try something different. You do need to buy a mat, but that’s the only thing not included, which is very reasonable.
This was my very first attempt at felting and I had so much fun! The kit was beautifully presented and everything was high quality and easy to work with. The colors were beautiful. The directions and the video were very clear and easy to follow. I had ordered a second kit before I finished and can't wait to get started on it. I never thought of myself as a crafter but I guess I am. I'm very proud to display my work and am excited to have a little felting collection. I think i will try sculpting too.
A very well put together kit. The kit itself is well organized and visually appealing. Ample wool is provided such that I feel I can make another project with it. The directions are clear and for a first time felter, I had no issues making my masterpiece. Would reccomend.
First time felting on the linen fabric. I did not care for how the felt goes in. Seems to not grab the felt well enough. The kit does not include a pad to needle on…that would be helpful since I find the pads are only good for one project and I didn’t have any new ones.
I’m hooked! I have completed 2 projects. Perfect to have the complete kit when just learning. The videos are extremely helpful.

This is my first felted painting. I love this. I had been practicing with 3d needle felting to get the feel for working with the wool roving. I had previously been a mosaic artist. I miss mosaics but this causes no cuts, and I love the results. 😊❤️ This kit has beautiful wool roving. It arrived quickly. Kits are wonderful!
I enjoyed making this needle felt picture. It was difficult for me to keep the proportions of the landscape. I think it would have been helpful to lay out everything from the bottom up before starting.

This is my second kit and I am have not begun it yet, but am confident it will be a fun project based on my previous experience. My family traveled to Iceland in November and there are sheep all over the countryside there. They actually do not fence them in, they are free roaming so you saw them in some unexpected places; like right next to a waterfall! I saw this kit and just had to have it as a reminder of our adventure.
It was a great kit! Beautiful picture and I have done a little 3d needle felting and my first 2D and the video was very good instruction.

I recently attended a weekend retreat for fiber arts and made the grazing sheep as part of my weekend package.. I enjoyed making the project, so I decided to purchase one sheep and one beach to give my granddaughters for Christmas. I will be helping them make their kit come to fruition. They are both young adults so I am sure they will love the finished projects.
