This listing is for the PDF instructions + video tutorial to make these Festive Candle Rings. This project is suitable for beginners and still fun for seasoned felters. Use as a decoration on a shelf, desk, or windowsill or gift them to someone special.
Already have plenty of wool and felting supplies? Don't need the whole kit but just want the pattern? Then this listing is for you.
You will receive digital downloads for:
1. Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
2. Supplies List
3. Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step + link to the video tutorial. Watching the online video is highly recommended and will take you through the whole process from start to finish! It is the next best thing to taking an in person class.
4. A printable image of the finished project
5. A template to help with sizing
All five documents can be printed (by you) and fit on 8.5x11 paper. There are 7 pages in total.
Supplies that you will need to complete the project:
1. Felting wool: in five colors similar to the ones shown.
2. Felting needles: 40 Twisted are used in the tutorial but other needles including any 40 or 42 gauge can be substituted.
3. Felting mat: foam, burlap or wool - to use as a work surface. Video shows our Wool Micro Mat
4. Any taper candle holders can be used to hold your candles of choice
Items made by using this pattern may be sold if credit is given to Felted Sky for the design.
