Leaf is a medium green that is used in many of our kits. Last picture shows it in use.
This needle felting wool batting is fairly soft, with a short staple length and hardly any vegetable matter. It is very uniform and really lovely to work with.
It is 100% made in USA (including the fiber!) unlike many of the other felting batts on the market. If you love supporting small scale domestic production, you can feel good about this product. 40% of the wool in these batts is merino from Texas, and 60% is a mix of medium grade wool from the Eastern US. It is small batch dyed and carded on a beautiful farm in Central Kentucky.
Please note dye lots can and do vary from batch to batch. We are working to minimize this, but there will always be some differences in color, which is part of small scale production.

Perfect flesh color for my Santa faces. Was trying to mix red and white to make flesh color with not so great success and then I got this Coral color. Perfect!
Great quality wool, I liked it so much that I ordered more just a couple of weeks after my first order. Unfortunately, the colors are so different I can't use it for my current project. Both the Blush and Dried Lavender are different tones than the bundles bought earlier. Perhaps there was a disclaimer on the website saying different batches of the same color will vary that I just didn't see
