This listing is for the PDF instructions + video tutorial to make these cute sheep. This project is suitable for beginners and still fun for seasoned felters. Use as a decoration on a shelf, desk, or windowsill or gift it to someone special.
Already have plenty of wool and felting supplies? Don't need the whole kit but just want the pattern? Then this listing is for you.
You will receive digital downloads for:
1. Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
2. Supplies List
3. Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step + link to the video tutorial. Watching the online video is highly recommended and will take you through the whole process from start to finish! It is the next best thing to taking an in person class.
4. A printable image of the finished project
All four documents can be printed (by you) and fit on 8.5x11 paper. There are 6 pages in total.
Supplies that you will need to complete the project:
1. Felting wool: core wool + one color for the body and one color for the head/ears/legs.
2. Felting needles: 38 Triangle are used in the tutorial but other size 38 needles can be substituted.
3. Felting mat: foam, burlap or wool - to use as a work surface. Video shows our Micro Wool Mat
4. Extras: 4 mm black glass eyes on wire or you can needle felt the eyes using a tiny bit of black wool.
Items made by using this pattern may be sold if credit is given to Felted Sky for the design.

Great instructions, photos and drawings. I’ve made three sheep so far. I’m glad that I can now buy Elizabeth’s beautiful patterns without having to buy the whole kit. I’m old (80) and love the slow, analog aspect of needle felting, but I don’t know how to upload a photo so can’t do that. Sorry.
